Search Engine Optimization can help bring traffic to a website, but if the traffic doesn't convert into clients or leads, then it's useless. So sometimes I help clients by re-designing their websites. Sheila really liked her logo and really wanted to use it but had built the website herself using FrontPage. Bacon Law's webmaster was no longer making their changes and they asked me to help them. They liked the black background on the home page and wanted to keep the desk. Tricia wanted to extend her services to include lessons over the internet and on the phone and asked me to optimize her site for her. Since she had a Flash splash home page, it was the first thing to change. Then I worked with her on the inside pages and she is now getting lots of traffic and has a very busy schedule. Scott and Shelly Keefe had just started their company and gotten their website built when they came to me to talk about marketing it in the search engines. Unfortunately, each page was an image and they were not going to have much luck organically. So they commissioned me to rebuild their website in a more search engine friendly manner, which I did. The webmaster for this website came to me and asked for help but decided he didn't like my ideas so this one never got off the ground. This website owner said he was getting the traffic but the traffic wasn't converting in to clients. So I redesigned the look and feel of the home page.
